I am a transfer student from Japan, and actually practicing the dual-degree program between foreign language university and Elon university. After the graduation of Elon, I will be entitled in English and Entrepreneurship degrees. The reason why I am major in Ent is that I would like to be the biz person who has entrepreneurial spirit. I know there are a lot of smart people who cannot explore the new things. I do not want to be that and I will practice my entrepreneurial start up in this class. I would like to get a job position in the Japanese company which extend its business globally. I would like to apply my English skills and ent’s skills in that field. For my life, taking this program (dual degree) was innovative. It changed my way of life. The bilingual of English and Japanese who also has the business skills in the global contexts. Also, the personality is fan. If I would be a part of the team, I can contribute in a way of global marketing. You can seek not only the US but also the Asian countries based on JPN.
Through my observation, there are different perceptions of product design and branding between the U.S. and JPN. I can give the advice to reduce those gaps.
